Lazy Yards ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Wicca Spellbook mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App.

Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information Collection and Storage

1.1 Data Stored Locally on Your Device

The App stores the following information locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or have access to this data:

Custom Spells: Spells you create, including titles, descriptions, and categories
Journal Entries: Notes, reflections, and journal content you write
Photos: Images you add to journal entries (Pro feature)
Ritual Plans: Rituals you create and plan
Spell Casting Records: Records of spells you've cast, including dates, notes, and ratings
Moon Phase Reminders: Reminders you set for moon phases
Favorites: Spells you mark as favorites

Important: All of this data remains on your device and is never sent to our servers. We have no access to this information.

1.2 Information We Actually Collect

The only information we may receive from you is:

Feedback and Support Messages: When you voluntarily send us feedback or support requests via email, we receive the content of your message and your email address (if you choose to provide it).

1.3 Automatically Collected Information

We do not automatically collect any personal information, usage data, or analytics from the App. The App does not use tracking technologies, cookies, or analytics services.

1.4 Subscription Information

When you purchase a subscription through the App Store, Apple processes the transaction. We receive limited information about your subscription status (active/inactive) through Apple's StoreKit framework, but we do not receive your payment information, credit card details, or personal identifying information.

2. How We Use Information

Since we do not collect your personal data, we have very limited use of information:

App Functionality: The App processes your data locally on your device to provide its features
iCloud Sync: If you enable iCloud sync, your data is synced to your personal iCloud account (managed by Apple, not us)
Subscription Verification: We verify your subscription status with Apple to provide Pro features
Support: We use feedback and support messages you send us to respond to your inquiries and improve the App

We do not use your data for advertising, marketing, or any other purpose.

3. Data Storage and Security

3.1 Local Storage

All your data (spells, journal entries, rituals, etc.) is stored locally on your device. We do not store this data on our servers.

3.2 iCloud Sync

If you enable iCloud sync (Pro feature), your data is synced to your personal iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit framework. This data is:

Encrypted in transit and at rest
Stored in your personal iCloud storage
Subject to Apple's Privacy Policy
Only accessible to you through your Apple ID
Not accessible to us (Lazy Yards)

3.3 Photo Storage

Photos you add to journal entries are stored locally on your device in the App's Documents directory. They are compressed for optimal storage and performance. If you enable iCloud sync, photos are synced to your iCloud account.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not collect, sell, trade, or rent your personal information. Since your data stays on your device, there is nothing for us to share.

The only data sharing that occurs is:

Apple Inc.: If you enable iCloud sync, your data is synced to your personal iCloud account managed by Apple. Apple's Privacy Policy applies to this data. We do not have access to your iCloud data.
Subscription Processing: Subscription information is processed by Apple through the App Store. We only receive your subscription status (active/inactive).
Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or in response to valid legal requests (though we have minimal information to disclose).

5. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following Apple services:

StoreKit: For in-app purchases and subscription management
CloudKit: For optional iCloud sync (Pro feature)
UserNotifications: For local notifications and reminders

These services are provided by Apple and are subject to Apple's Privacy Policy. We do not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is rated 4+ and is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The App does not require account creation or personal information to use.

7. Your Rights and Choices

7.1 Data Access and Control

You have full control over your data:

All your data is stored locally on your device
You can view, edit, or delete any content you create
You can disable iCloud sync at any time
Deleting the App removes all locally stored data

7.2 Subscription Management

You can manage your subscription through your Apple ID settings:

Open Settings on your iOS device
Tap your name at the top
Tap "Subscriptions"
Select "Wicca Spellbook"
Manage or cancel your subscription

8. Data Retention

Your data remains on your device and in your iCloud account (if enabled) until you delete it. We do not have access to or control over your data. If you delete the App, your local data is removed. iCloud data remains in your iCloud account until you delete it.

9. International Data Transfers

If you use iCloud sync, your data may be transferred to and stored in Apple's data centers, which may be located in different countries. Apple complies with applicable data protection laws for international transfers.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by:

Posting the new Privacy Policy in the App
Updating the "Last Updated" date
Providing an in-app notification for significant changes

Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.

11. California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, you have specific rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):

Right to know what personal information is collected
Right to know if personal information is sold or disclosed
Right to opt-out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell personal information)
Right to request deletion of personal information
Right to non-discrimination for exercising your rights

If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):

13. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data:

Data is stored locally on your device using iOS security features
iCloud data is encrypted in transit and at rest
We do not transmit your data to our servers
Photos are compressed and stored securely in the App's sandbox

However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
