Data Storage and Synchronization

Local Storage

Your shopping lists and preferences are stored locally on your device using device storage and UserDefaults.

iCloud Sync

To enable synchronization across your devices and sharing with family members, your data is also stored in your personal iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit service. This includes:

Shopping lists and items
Store information
Shopping history
App preferences

All data synced to iCloud is encrypted in transit and at rest by Apple. We do not have access to your iCloud account or password.

Data Sharing

When you share a shopping list with family members using CloudKit Sharing:

Shared data is stored in a shared iCloud zone accessible only to you and invited participants
Participants can view and edit shared lists
You can revoke sharing access at any time
Shared data remains in your iCloud account and is subject to Apple's Privacy Policy

Third-Party Services

Apple Services

The App uses the following Apple services:

iCloud/CloudKit: For data synchronization and sharing
Speech Recognition: For voice input processing (processed on-device or by Apple)

No Other Third Parties
