Intendly Privacy Policy
Intendly is designed to help neurodivergent and ADHD-minded users plan their days, build calm resets, and stay focused. We take your privacy seriously and are committed to handling your information responsibly. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you.
1. Data We Collect
Intendly stores most information on your device. We only collect or sync the information that is necessary to deliver the app’s core features.
1.1 Information you provide
- Tasks, routines, and notes. Information you enter into tasks, calm reset routines, or planner notes is saved locally on your device using Core Data. If you remove the app, this data is deleted.
- Focus sessions and logs. Session titles, durations, and completion state are stored locally to show history and insights.
1.2 Information from device features
- Calendars. With permission, Intendly reads your calendar to suggest ideal focus times. Calendar data is only used on-device and is never uploaded to our servers.
- Health data. If you opt in, Intendly can write Mindful Minutes to Apple Health after Calm Reset sessions. We do not read existing HealthKit data.
- Notifications & Live Activities. We request notification permissions to send reminders, streak updates, and calm reset encouragements.
- App analytics. We use anonymous crash and performance data provided by Apple (e.g., App Store Connect analytics) to maintain app stability. This data does not identify you.
1.3 In-app purchases
If you subscribe to Intendly Pro, Apple processes your payment information through StoreKit. We do not store card details. We retain purchase receipts solely to verify your subscription status.
2. How We Use Your Data
- Provide core functionality such as focus timers, Calm Reset experiences, routines, and planner insights.
- Deliver optional notifications, reminders, and Live Activities you enable.
- Generate anonymized insights on-device (e.g., best focus time, streak counts).
- Respond to support requests you send us.
3. Data Storage & Retention
- On-device storage. Tasks, routines, calm resets, and session history live on your device in Core Data and App Group storage for widgets. Deleting the app removes them.
- Backups. If you use iCloud backups, Apple may include Intendly data in your encrypted device backup.
- Health data. Mindful Minute entries saved to Apple Health remain until you delete them via the Health app.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell or rent your data. We only share information in the following limited circumstances:
- With Apple. Required to process purchases, manage subscriptions, or deliver push notifications.
- With service providers. If we need to use a third-party trusted sub-processor (e.g., for email support), they are bound by confidentiality agreements and can only use the data to help us provide the service.
5. Children’s Privacy
Intendly is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
6. International Users
If you use Intendly outside your home country, your data may be processed in the country where your device is located or where Apple stores backup information. By using the app, you consent to this processing.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes may also be communicated in-app or via release notes.
8. Contact Us
If you have any questions or requests about this Privacy Policy or your data, please contact us at contact@lazyyards.com.
